Subregional context

It is Important to note that the Province of Misiones has 1391 km. of border, of which 91% is international, of these, 900 km. borders with  Brazil  and  367 km with Paraguay, being mostly river border.

On this border has 34 border crossing points (third of border crossing from Argentina).

A great advantage is that it is surrounded by two countries: Brazil and Paraguay, with more than 50 million inhabitants in a radius of 1,000 km, and large areas of agricultural production and agribusiness located on the border with: Itapúa Departments and Alto Paraná from Paraguay, Rio Grande do Sul State , Santa Catarina State and Parana in Brazil, a situation that opens up endless possibilities of markets and productive complementation.
