The province

Misiones has an area of 29,801 km2 and a population of 1,097,829 (2010), bordered to the west with Paraguay, which is separated by the Parana River, east, north and south bordered with Brazil, through of the Iguazu, San Antonio and Pepirí Guazú Rivers, plus about 20 km of dry border and southwest with the Province of Corrientes through Chimiray and Itaembé streams with a 30 km stretch of dry border.
